The Governing Body 2025-26
As a church voluntary aided school, a number of our governors are elected from the church – foundation governors.
The Governors meet regularly to make decisions for the school. There are also Link Governors who have responsibilities to support specific areas in school. e.g. Numeracy, Literacy, Special Educational Needs, etc. A nominated governor is also attached to each class in school to offer support and communication with the children in that class and with the teacher.

Governor Diversity Data
We’re committed to improving the diversity of school governing boards. We recognise the importance of diverse boards so that decisions are made robustly with input from people with a variety of lived experiences – as well as varied skills. It’s also vital that children see people of all backgrounds in board-level positions.
Currently none of our Governors are from ethnic minority backgrounds. Where we can, we try to find someone who can bring the skills our school needs alongside the diversity.
