Tree Mural
Our tree mural runs down one of the staircases in the main building. Together with the ‘Fairy Godmother’, our Ethos Committee and talented artists identified positive attitudes and qualities that make our school a great place to be.
The Library Area
Our school library is a beautiful, relaxing space for us to enjoy our love of reading. Together with Miss Birtles, the School Council have designed a calm space featuring sofas, mood lighting and a giant neon sign. Our children love spending time in there!
The Zen Den
The Zen Den is another relaxing space in our school. Our School Counsellor, Mrs Pietkiewicz, holds her sessions in here and our SENCO, Mrs Schofield, also uses the space for review meetings. Often, small groups of children will work in here, enjoying the peace, quiet and tranquillity of the room.
Unisex 'Harry Potter' Toilets
We love our toilets, complete with ‘Harry Potter’ water fountain. It is located close to the rear entrance, for easy access during play times. This is also where any first aid is carried out by our trained staff.
The Reflections Room
Pupils are welcome to use the Reflection Room at any point in the school day. It is the perfect spot to have a moments peace and quiet and provides the opportunity for children to regulate, in a safe environment. It is also used for one-to-one interventions, including reading activities.
