Family Collective Worship
We are still holding our family collective worship assemblies every Friday at 2.30pm. All parents and families are welcome to join us to celebrate the children’s achievements. You will be notified if your child is getting a certificate.
The theme for Collective Worship changes every half term. The themes for assemblies will reflect the chosen topic.

The Church of England Faith at Home Videos
Faith at Home is a call to discover God’s presence together in the place we spend most of our time. Home offers the space to make mistakes and ask honest questions. Home gives us a place to become who we are created to be.
Home gives us the chance to be fully known and fully loved by those who share our space because of God’s gift of love through us. It is a call to choose a lifelong exploration of a growing faith, nurtured in the normal everyday elements of life together.

Cycle A: Summer 1 - Respect and Reverence

God created us different, but God did not create us for separation. God created us different that we might recognize our need for one another. Cycle A: Summer 2 - Courage
Courage is not just about being brave if we are hurt or ill. It’s also about showing courage when we try something new and when we need to bounce back when things go wrong. It’s also being brave enough to stand up for what we know is right and being brave enough to be ourselves which might mean being different from others around us.

Cycle B: Autumn 1 - Responsibility
When you think of the word “responsibility”, what comes to mind? Getting your school assignments done on time? Helping your family with the daily chores? Watching out for your little brother or sister?
Responsibility definitely means all those things, but it means something more too. Responsibility is also about looking inside yourself and doing all you can to be the best person possible. And trying to see what you can do to help others. In short, when you practice responsibility, you’re on your way to making your life the very best it can be!

We are looking at things that are fair, and things that are unfair. And we’re also thinking about the part we can play in making the world around us a better and fairer, a place for everyone and encouraging us to stand up for others who are being treated badly and unfairly. We want our school and our world to be a fair and just place, where everyone feels safe and flourishes.

Cycle B: Spring 2 - Forgiveness
Forgiveness can be a struggle for most. In life, people behave in ways that can offend us. Holding a grudge might feel natural, but the Bible encourages us to forgive.
Recent studies of forgiveness show that practising forgiveness can improve our mental and physical health. But how do we practice forgiveness and experience the peace it brings?
Jesus gives us the perfect example of forgiveness. While in agony on the cross, Jesus called out, exclaiming “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” (Luke 23:34).
