The Neurodiversity (ND) Support Hub
The Neurodiversity (ND) Support Hub is now open! This is a place for families, children and young people, aged 0-25 years, with Autism and ADHD related needs.
The ND Support Hub is operated by Point and provides tailored support for children and young people aged 0–25 with Autism and ADHD-related needs, with or without a formal diagnosis. The hub offers a range of needs-led support for families, including parent and carer workshops, sessions for children and young people focused on Autism and ADHD acceptance, and access to neurodiversity navigation support.
The service also delivers the “Riding the Rapids” programme, a group-based intervention designed to support families on the pathway to Autism assessment. Working in partnership with local services, the ND Hub aims to help families build confidence and access the right support,

Send Musical beginnings
SEND Musical Beginnings in Oldham is a fantastic initiative offering free early years music sessions for children aged 0-4 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). These sessions are designed to provide a fun and engaging environment where children can explore music and movement, helping to support their development and wellbeing.

Wheels for All
Oldham Ability Wheelz Cycling Centre operates from within Alexander Park on the outskirts of the town. The trails within the park are mainly flat but there are one or two inclines so be prepared to pedal harder! Lots of regular sessions throughout the week for all abilities

The Disabled Ramblers
The Disabled Ramblers is a small charity working across England and Wales to help make the countryside more accessible to people with limited mobility which benefits everyone. They run 25-30 rambles designed for mobility scooters each year, organised into groups of 3 or 4 in selected areas of the country. They are run from April to October, whatever the weather.

Beach Wheelchairs
Beach Wheelchairs is a Scottish Charity which believes that everyone has the right to enjoy our beautiful beaches. All of the wheelchairs have been specially designed to enable individuals with disabilities to get back on the beach. Unlike a standard manual wheelchair they have large, rubber wheels which move easily over the sand. They hire out beach wheelchairs free of charge from each of our seaside locations using local volunteers.
